Promoting better understanding of problems in the fields of air and water pollution and waste management and providing a means for exchanging information towards resolving those problems.

This website is a portal to information for environmental professionals on news, events, regulations, conferences and meetings in the western Pennsylvania region.

Background

The Allegheny Mountain Section of the Air & Waste Management Association is the local affiliate of the International Air & Waste Management Association.

The Section has members in the region including western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The purpose of the Section and the Association is to promote better understanding of problems in the fields of air pollution and waste management and to provide a means for exchanging information toward resolving those problems.
